Frott is exactly what the name implies. and it is stitched with extraordinary care. Two bodies pressed together, warm skin on warm skin, rendered in blush pink, coral, terracotta, cream, and deep magenta against a rich midnight blue-purple ground. The background recedes. The bodies don’t.

The title references frottage, intimate body-to-body contact, and the composition delivers on that completely. This is erotic art in the fullest sense: not suggestive, not coy, not hiding behind metaphor. Just two men, close, rendered in thread with the same devotion a Dutch master gave a bowl of fruit. Which, arguably, this also is.

The midnight indigo background makes the warm flesh tones burn. Every shade of pink from palest blush to deep magenta is present, building form and heat stitch by stitch. The result is something genuinely beautiful that also pulls no punches about what it is and who it’s for.
